Join us for go-karting at Sigdal Motorsenter. With its 750 meters long, 7 meters wide, and hilly track, this is certainly one of Norway’s most fun go-kart tracks!
Sigdal Motorsenter’s go-kart track was built in 1986, and is still considered one of the most demanding, yet fun courses in Norway. Larger international races are organized here, like the Viking Trophy. The regular go-karts may come to a speed of 50 km / h on the long side of the track. This is fast when you sit so close to the ground!
The driver must have a height of at least 125 cm. This is the minimum to be able to master the go-kart. According to Norwegian rules, children’s go-karting has a lower top speed. Please let us know if you have children with you on this activity. The lower age limit for participation is 8 years.
Whether you are in a company group or a group of friends, you can either run at your own pace or we can arrange a competition. This is run just like a real go-kart race. Driver against driver with, for example, 6 laps preliminary, and a final of 8 laps. Each lap takes about 40 seconds or more.
This activity is priced per hour and includes up to 9 go-karts and 4 heats. One hour is suitable for a group up to 15 people. If you are more than 15 in your group, we recommend that you book more hours. Remember to dress according to weather conditions. If it rains, wear a rain suit and rubber boots. Rental of go-kart, helmet, safety instructions and guidance are included.
During the season there may be times when the motor center is in use for other events. If so, we will suggest an alternative time for your group.
